We begin our second day with the South-eastern crater. This crater started again a sporadic activity, and in any case, we have time to make a small courtesy visit to each one.

The noisy explosions are impressive, but as in Voragine, it spits only little, and all falls down on the cone. The summit of the cone exceeds the edge of the crater, it will be soon visible from far away if it starts again its past weeks' actvity. Between the explosions, we hear the squealings of lava flow which runs slowly out of the crater. It is this casting which is responsible for the lull of the explosions on the cone. A small shelter was built by the guides on the peak, towards North, but we let us not entrust our life to it...
